After decades rehearsing and performing with fellow actors, I recognized the training found in theatre can be transferred to solving workplace challenges. You can imagine the skills it takes for an improv troupe to work in front of a live audience. They are co-creating, problem-solving and listening while working without a script. Applied Improvisation borrows those same skills learned in an improv troupe and applied it to off-stage applications like consulting, coaching, researching, generating ideas or resetting communication and workplace culture.
