ACTOR

"The world is a stage and the play is badly cast."

― Oscar Wilde

For over twenty years, I have been dedicated to a career as a professional actor. My mission is to focus on the essential work: sparking laughter and provoking thought. I believe in the power of uncovering truth through storytelling and draw inspiration from the dynamic, in-the-moment choices performers make on stage.

My artistic aesthetic is deeply rooted in the teachings of my mentors: Viola Spolin, Paul Sills, and Augusto Boal. Beyond acting, I am a multidisciplinary professional who directs, writes, and designs for both stage and cinema. I also dedicate significant time to research and discovery, applying the principles of storytelling to positively impact everyday teams, organizations, and communities.

I describe my process as making "the invisible – visible."

I grew up in a part of Brooklyn called Midwood, at the corners of Avenue M and East 12th Streets. Midwood is a charming neighborhood in New York City, celebrated for its rich blend of cultures and families. This vibrant area is home to diverse families, including Italian, Irish, Pakistani, African-American and Orthodox Jewish community, all coexisting and contributing to the neighborhood's distinct character.

Adding to its notable features was the presence of the NBC Brooklyn studios and the highly-regarded, public Magnet School, Edward R. Murrow High School, making Midwood an ideal place for me to start his early acting career.

While I am based in St. Louis, Missouri, I am available for the right project anywhere. I lead the award-winning improv ensemble, Paper Slip Theatre, which performs popular Whose Line Is It Anyway? themed-comedy shows for both private bookings and public venues. Our show looks and feels just like the hit show made famous by Drew Carey, Wayne Brady, Ryan Stiles and my good friend Colin Mochrie.

I offer private bookings for any size event, allowing clients to select from 20 unique themed mysteries. Favorites include A Fistful of Hollers, Murder at the Abbey, and Bullets in the Bathtub, with holiday specials like A Dickens of a Killing, A Christmas Killer, and Harm for the Holidays. I book all of my murder mystery shows through Jest Murder Mystery

Some of my emcee clients include: Visitors Convention Bureau, Explore Saint Louis, The Saint Louis Zoo, FOCUS St. Louis, St. Louis Jewish Federation, Springboard to Learning, Prison Performing Arts, Central Reform Congregation, COCA and Stray Dog Theatre.
