I'm am thrilled to share more about my work. My professional career is built on decades of success in live entertainment. I have worked with audiences large and small. And more recently, I design trainings, offering a unique blend of creativity and strategic expertise to my clients.

Below is my official bio and can be used for introductions, playbills and promotions: 


Ed Reggi is a lifelong storyteller who has the stories to prove it. Growing up in the Big Apple, Ed honed his acting career by sneaking into the NBC studios across his Brooklyn street home. He earned his BA in Communications and BFA in Studio Art at Fontbonne University in St. Louis, Missouri. He moved to Chicago, where he continued studying at The Second City with its founder, Broadway director and playwright Paul Sills. Ed returned to campus in 2020 to obtain his MFA in Theatre Education from the nationally recognized Mississippi University for Women in Columbus, Mississippi.

He serves as an adjunct Professor at several colleges including Lindenwood University, and Southern Illinois University. Ed is a teaching artist at the Center of Creative Arts (COCA) in University City. He’s a proud Wolf Trap Teaching Artist with Springboard in St. Louis, specializing in arts integration, media literacy, and character education classes.

Ed Reggi is the Past-President of the Applied Improvisation Network (AIN) and facilitates communication and storytelling workshops all over the globe. His clients include Google, SONY Playstation, Wells Fargo, Accenture, Mastercard, Southwest Airlines, Nestle Purina, Monsanto, Saint Louis Zoo, Vivent Health, SSM Health, Ascension Health, the St. Louis Jewish Federation, St Louis Public Schools, Cancer Support Community, Salvation Army, and Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis.


Ed Reggi ghostwrites for stand-up comedians, television hosts, and internet personalities. You can watch Reggi (portraying himself) teaching improv on Oprah Winfrey’s nationally syndicated TV show, WELCOME TO SWEETIE PIE’S. Reggi has been fortunate to work side-by-side with some of the most respected actors, including Mary Gross, Edie McClurg, Mike Rock, Keegan-Michael Key, Amy Poehler, Anna Deavere Smith, Valeria Harper, Bob Keeshan, George Clooney, Raven Symone, and Avery Schreiber.

Ed Reggi’s spouse is a social worker specializing in crisis intervention, and they recently moved to a 1940s farmhouse in Florissant, Missouri, with their charming dogs, Ollie and Phoenix. The 4-acre property came with several barn cats, Piper, Tom, Loki, and Tabby, who continue to live their best lives.
