Nicholas the Great - Pain in the rear!

The Great Nicholas from Hell.

Okay picture this -

An entire airport watching this parent not parent her terror of a child. This kid is the kind of child that will certainly grow up out of control. He had absolutely no boundaries and took nothing for reality. He was just a little devil. But cute as a button! He sure knows how to work his toddler charm.

In the Jersey and In the Moment

Okay I am leaving New Jersey in less than 12 hours and I am happy with that thought.

I have learned so much this 'Kidsmas' season on my east coast journey:

10) Avoid at all costs the Stomach Flu or any virus that makes your body express itself out of every orfice.

9) Thinking that leaving at 5am on December 25th is a good idea; next time just pour liquid drano down your ear drums.

8) Eating before 8am is meant for the senior citizen community, unless you never went to bed in which case it is a requirement.

7) Cats that have front claws hurt no matter what you put down on the floor.

6) "Long Term Care Facility" is a code name for NURSING HOME no matter how much you say it.

5) If you are taking more than 20 medications daily then you are dying.

4) iPods need more battery power.

3) Hospitals will make you sicker than you were in the first place.

2) New Jersey seems to have the most concentrated amount of Doctors from India - which normally would not be any problem but them not speaking english can be...

1) The best thing about late night hotel television besides the FREE ADULT MOVIE PREVIEWS is catching up on all my PAID PROGRAMMING. I am now the proud owner of the www.DoggySteps.com and www.buythebullet.com !

A Caution about the Days Inn at Newark airport

The room windows open up to the airtram that takes everyone to and fro...

My ass was just witnessed by all. I feel so violated....

Trains, Planes and no Automobile

I am stuck in New Jersey and surrounded my crazy commuters without my car! Oh how I have grown to depend on my dear Impala... I cannot wait to be back with her.

Boy do I have a secrete to tell you!

Scott just emailed this to me and it cracked me up, especially since I am still sick and I need a laugh.

I cannot believe it my cab driver just jumped out his car and left it running.

The man is one something, like crack or meth. Have you looked at the cab slash car service drivers lately?

Well I have and they all seem to wear the same thing - jeans that are never washed... Shoes that can barely keep water out... And the worst hair do ever.

They have a coating of dirt and film on their bodies especially their teeth.

Chinese Chicken Soup for the Soul

Getting a quart of chicken soup for dinner and straight to bed I go.

WWJD

My cabby driver in NJ just jumped out of the car!

So what would Jesus do?

The theme of the week is doctors.

I have seen more doctors and hospital then my fair share. While in NJ visiting my dad who has been in the hospital since July 5th 2005 is still trying to get out.

He had originally gone in for problems with his breathing but it quickly became a stroke issue.

After a quadruple bypass he has been on the roller coaster called the Great American Health system.

Let me verify to you that the state of our health system is out of control. First off I have seen my share of doctors who do not speak english. I have talked to better english-speaking doctors in South East asia when I was sick there than in Middlesex New Jersey. What is it with the medical exams? Are they not administered in english?

My dad was out of his mind yesterday as was my step-mom, although hers was not diagnosed. I kept doing the mantra, "stay in the moment.... Stay in the moment.... Don't worry about the past or predict the future.

She kind of nods and gets it, but she really doesn't. It is like she enjoys being fully frightened or in a state of fear. Why would you want to live like this? She smokes like a chimney and is generally aged herself 25 extra years due to the unburdened extra stress she inflicts on herself.

My dad is being shuffled from hospital to hospital, doc to doc and from treatment to treatment. During the entire time he has been in the hospital everyone around him has accepted his reality which is rooted in dysfunctal mental illness.

He needs to get his head right first.

But alas what do I know I am not a doctor.

I have been up since 4:30 am to leave St. Louis and get to New Jersey. I am fricking beat but alas I have already seen so much.

I think when I first reached the airport in STL at 6am I thought a tornado had hit. Who knew that xmas was the most popular day for all the people to fly.

I then saw the line for security - holy cow. It was at least 100 people waiting. Thank goodness they opened up more baggers.

The next fun part was seeing the plane I was on. I could barely get in the door - very hobbit like.

Lastly, watching out my window and seeing them de-ice it was a blast. I actually waved at them and they saw me.
